Title

Creag Clais nan Cruineachd

Subject

Gemma Smith's research suggests the older map spelling suggests that the name is from an Old Irish construct.
In local discussions, we were unsure whether Cruineachd refers to wheat or gathering. Based on Home's old maps, showing "corn" in the area, we went for "wheat".
A third option is that Cruineachd rather means "gathering"

Description

The crag of the gully of the Picts (but see additional notes)
